| Broadcast notes - Bulls at Predators 7/27 Airing in Eau Claire: 1400 AM Online: sportsradio1400.com Free app: Iheartradio
-This is the second all-time meeting between the Bulls and Predators. North Bank beat Chppewa Valley on June 22 earlier this summer. -The North Bank Bulls are the only team that the Predators have faced in their history that they have not beaten. -The Predators have scored more points than any other team in NEFL league play history, 49 more points than the next most prolific team (the Rage). They've scored 1,742 points in NEFL play (the Bulls are in their first year, and have scored 115 points in league play) -With a win and Lake Superior loss, the Predators would be tied with the Rage for most wins in NEFL history (43) -This is the 137th game in Predators history and 24th playoff game (15-8 all-time). The Bulls are playing their 9th game in their history and first playoff game. -With a win, the Predators would earn their 99th overall victory in team history.
Playoff notes: -The Menomonie Thunderhawks have never beaten the Lake Superior Rage. They have met four times, three of the games occuring last season or this season. -The playoff field features all five teams in the NEFL that have won prior league championships--the Pioneers (7), Predators (3), Force (2), Rage (1), and Thunderhawks (1). The other four teams in the league have never won a champoionship, and the Bulls will make their first-ever playoff appearance (the Crush, Rough Riders, and Spartans are a combined 3-12 in postseason history, the Crush woning all 3 wins). | |
